Halloween is one occasion when costumes are widely used. Adults and children dress in costume to celebrate this holiday held on October 31st annually. During ceremonies many Native American Indians will adorn the beautiful costumes of what their ancestors wore. Many of these costumes are adorned with feathers and have intricate bead work weaved into the fabrics. Some tribes will allow outsiders to watch their celebrations as quiet observers. Many of the dances that the Native American Indians perform tell stories of ancient times.
