AOC Leveling Guide – Solutions For Fast Leveling In In Hyboria

An AOC leveling guide was my friend when I began my adventure in the barbarian world of Hyboria with my Assassin. As a PvP player I never took pleasure in leveling a toon and always looked for shortcuts to level 80. Before I started to use this guide, AoE grinding seemed to me like the fastest way to level up a toon in AoC. Of course, that might work for a PoM or ToS, but for an Assassin is pretty hard to kill more than 1-2 targets at the time without needing to rest after.

This AOC leveling guide has served me with a rigorously made quest path, which I've been following with great interest, as my XP was flying. Designed step-by-step, I always knew where to go, what to do and how to complete each quest easier and faster. The guide's maps always pointed me in the right directions and I never got lost. All in all, I managed to finish my Assassin in a very short time.

However, even if this Age of Conan Leveling Guide has served me with a fast and smooth leveling path, for certain classes that have powerful AoE spells and skills, it's a good idea to combine questing with AoE grinding.

As a general idea, if you wish to begin an AoE grinding session, choose a camp with creatures a few levels lower than your character, to be able to kill them faster. Also, consumables can save your butt when things get rough, so have a few stacks when starting a grinding session.

Following the leveling routes of this AOC leveling guide, I came across a few great grinding spots and I'm going to describe a few here.

My favourite AoE grinding location in this MMO is the Cannibal Cave, in Eiglophian Mountains. It's placed a little bit to the East from Mountain Hunting Lodge, about in the middle of the map. The humanoids in this cave are levels 53-57, most of them are melee, very easy to kill, without too many special abilities.

Another great spot to grind with AoE, is located in Atzel Approach, to the North-West, at Atzel Outpost. The mobs here are levels 60+, so it's best to come here at 63-64. Not all the mobs here are melee, some of them are ranged and casters, but pulling carefully, avoiding to die will bring you nice XP here, as well. The spawn rate is high, so even if you have competition, you won't run out of mobs

Now as I said, the AOC Leveling Guide I've been working with has shown me an excellent quest path, but I enhance my leveling with little sessions of grinding. However, this guide is a great leveling tool to have, that's why I strongly recommend it to everyone that wants to level fast in Age of Conan.
