Halloween is one occasion when costumes are widely used. Adults and children dress in costume to celebrate this holiday held on October 31st annually. The costumes worn on this day tend to be ones from horror films and books such as vampires and ghosts. Mardi Gras, French for Fat Tuesday, is a huge celebration that many people will wear costumes and masks.
